Questions?
Why did Virtual Field change its name to Carrot?
Virtual Field began with a mission to rethink visual field testing using modern technology. Over time, the platform expanded far beyond visual fields to include additional diagnostic capabilities, workflow automation, and interoperability tools.
Carrot reflects the broader vision of the company — a complete visual diagnostics platform designed to support modern eye care practices.
Was Virtual Field acquired or purchased by another company?
No. The company has not been acquired. Our ownership, leadership team, and mission remain the same. The name change reflects the evolution of the platform and the broader scope of what we deliver to eye care providers.
Will my pricing change?
No. Your pricing is not changing as part of the transition from Virtual Field to Carrot.
Will I need to sign a new contract?
Yes. Because we are putting a DBA in place, customers and partners will receive updated agreements. The terms of your agreement and pricing will remain the same.
Will my support team or customer success manager change?
No. Your customer success and support teams remain the same. You can continue working with the same people who support your account today.
Where do I log into the platform now?
You can log in to the platform at app.carrot.io.
If you visit VirtualField.io, you will automatically be redirected to our new homepage. You can log in to your account from the Login button at the top of Carrot.io.
Will my existing devices or hardware continue to work?
Yes. Your existing devices and hardware continue to function exactly as they do today. The Carrot platform is built on the same technology foundation that powers Virtual Field.
